形态描述
前鼻孔与后鼻孔紧邻，上唇面光滑，下唇面多皱褶。上颌中部有一弱的齿状突起，下颌匙状。须很长。第1鳃弓内侧鳃耙9—11枚。侧线不完全。雌性个体体侧具15—19条横斑，雄性个体体侧自鳃孔后至尾鳍基部具一宽度约与眼径相等的深褪色纵纹。
生物学
This small loach occurs in Xishangbanna, Yunnan Province. It inhabits the slow current in the Lancangjiang River and lives in the crevice of gravel. The colour pattern in male is different from the female by having a dark brown
longitudinal stripe along its body.
